Mexico Emerges as a Growth Hub for PV + Storage in Latin America

Mexico's PV + storage industry is gaining strong momentum. Supported by its vast territory, large population, and leading regional economic foundation, Mexico has grown into one of the largest PV + storage markets in Latin America. Moreover, Mexico's unique geographic location not only gives it far-reaching influence over the entire Latin American market but also makes it an important gateway to the U.S. market.

With over 14 years of deep expertise in power electronics technology, Hoymiles provides smart energy solutions to millions of users in more than 190 countries and regions. As early as 2015, the company strategically laid out its presence in the Latin American market, gradually establishing a solid market advantage. Based on deep insights into local needs, Hoymiles continues to enhance local operations, establishing a local technical service team and a manufacturing base in Mexico to provide more timely and efficient product delivery and technical support to regional customers.

Winning the "Top of Mind" Preferred Brand Award

Brand Influence Deeply Rooted in the Market

During the expo, Hoymiles received the "Top of Mind" Preferred Brand Award from CPEF. CPEF is a highly influential industry organization in Mexico's PV and renewable energy sector, and its "Solar Monitor" report is widely regarded as authoritative in the industry.

The "Top of Mind" award is derived from the 2025 "Solar Monitor" rankings. "Top of Mind" refers to the brand or product that users spontaneously think of first without any prompts or aids, clearly reflecting the brand's strong presence in consumers' daily awareness, as well as its significant advantage in purchase preference and intent. The survey results show that 44% of respondents listed Hoymiles as their first choice. This not only demonstrates Hoymiles' leading position in the rankings but also fully confirms that its brand influence has deeply penetrated the Mexican market.

The report also notes that Hoymiles is transitioning from a leader in microinverters to a comprehensive energy solutions provider covering energy storage and hybrid solutions. This means Hoymiles has become a full-scope solution provider for integrated PV + storage development in the local market.

PV + Storage Product Portfolio on Display

Demonstrating Full-Scenario Solution Capabilities

At the exhibition, Hoymiles showcased a product portfolio covering both PV and energy storage applications—from residential and C&I to large-scale power plant projects—demonstrating its technical and solution capabilities in PV + storage integration.

For PV applications, the HMS series maximizes user returns with high efficiency, safety, and stability. High-power products such as the HMT series help enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency with high power output.

Hoymiles' residential energy storage product line also made an appearance, including the HYS single-phase hybrid inverter and the HAS single-phase AC-coupled hybrid inverter. Through PV-storage synergy dispatch, smart energy management, and multi-mode backup power capability, Hoymiles' home energy storage system significantly increases the rate of self-consumption, making home energy systems more autonomous and intelligent.

Hoymiles' fully liquid cooling C&I PV storage system, HoyUltra 2, became a focal point at the event. The system adopts a PACK+PCS fully-liquid-cooling architecture, and with wide-temperature-range intelligent temperature control technology, it achieves precise control under all operating conditions from -30°C to 50°C. In extremely cold conditions, the system starts up quickly and maintains efficient operation, effectively addressing capacity fading and charging difficulties caused by low temperatures. At 50°C, it still delivers full-power stable output without derating. This means power generation capability remains unaffected in extreme weather, project revenue predictability is significantly improved, and the system delivers reliable value returns 24/7.

Hoymiles' HoyPrime fully-liquid-cooling energy storage system adopts a fully-liquid-cooling architecture to easily handle various complex operating conditions, with no need for derating in high-temperature environments. It is suitable for multiple application scenarios, including renewable energy + storage, standalone energy storage, and shared energy storage.
